The Tea Promotion Unit of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Beijing participated in the East China Tea Industry Expo 2024, held from June 7th to 10th in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China. Zhejiang Province is the second-largest tea-importing region in China, with an annual import volume ranging from 7 to 8 million kilograms, following Fujian Province.
The event primarily functioned as a business-to-consumer (B2C) platform. The tea importing agents representing the following tea exporting companies in Sri Lanka were facilitated to participate at the event for free of cost.
