The Tea Promotion Unit of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing (TPU-SLEMB) facilitated the tea sector’s participation in the 32nd China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair, held from 25–29 October 2025 in Yangling city, Shaanxi Province-China. The promotion of Ceylon Tea was highly successful, supported by a free 20 sqm exhibition space secured by the TPU-SLEMB. The event strengthened brand visibility, expanded market access for the Chinese agent of Imperial Tea Exports, and increased awareness of Ceylon Tea among regional consumers. This initiative supports Sri Lanka’s continued efforts to grow the presence of Ceylon Tea across China through strategic provincial-level promotions.
