The Fresh Tea Festival, (Neum Tea Mangallaya) is a major cultural event in the Sri Lankan tea industry. The annual festival was held on 13th May 2025 for the eighth time with the participation of all stakeholders involved in the tea sector, centered around the religious places covering all tea growing districts
The main festival was held at the historical Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara in Badulla under the patronage of the Hon.Samantha Viddyarathna, Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure,
Parallel festivals were held on the same day at the following religious places with the participation of all stakeholders involved in the tea sector.

- Historical Gatabaru Rajamaha Viharaya – Kotapola
- Getambe Rajopawanaramaya
- Kande Viharaya ,Aluthgama
- Jumma Masjid Mosque, Ambarapola
- Rakwana Paththini Kovila
- St. Mary’s Cathedral Church – Badulla
