Sri Lanka Tea Board, together with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing and the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Guangzhou, successfully promoted Ceylon Tea at the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) 2026 in Guangzhou, China.
The participation created valuable opportunities for Sri Lankan tea exporters to engage with international buyers from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Noth & South America regions.
Ceylon Tea attracted strong interest for its premium quality, authenticity, specialty offerings, and value-added tea products. Tea tasting sessions, product displays, and B2B discussions further strengthened the global visibility of Ceylon Tea. The initiative reinforced Sri Lanka’s position as a trusted origin of premium tea in the international marketplace.
