The Sri Lanka Tea Board proudly served as the Gold Sponsor of Manhunt Japan 2026, held in February 2026 as part of the Manhunt International 2026 World Final programme.
The initiative provided a unique platform to promote the heritage, quality and diversity of Ceylon Tea among the younger generation in Japan. Participants were introduced to Sri Lanka’s seven distinctive tea-growing regions, experiencing the different characteristics and flavours that make Ceylon Tea renowned worldwide.
Through this partnership, the Sri Lanka Tea Board strengthened the connection between Ceylon Tea and Japan’s younger generation, while creating an engaging and contemporary platform to communicate the story of Sri Lanka’s iconic tea.
The Manhunt International 2026 World Final, featuring participants from 36 countries, was subsequently held in Sri Lanka on 9 September 2026.
