Diversity of Ceylon Tea Captivates Audience at the Brussels Tea Festival 2026

Sri Lanka Tea Board collaborated with the Sri Lanka Embassy in Belgium for participation in the Brussels Tea Festival 2026, held on 27 September 2026 at Flagey, Place Sainte-Croix in central Brussels, Belgium.

A key highlight of Sri Lanka’s participation was a dedicated Ceylon tea presentation and demonstration workshop held at the festival’s special hall. Sri Lanka presented its seven regional black teas, highlighting the differences in flavour and character resulting from the country’s diverse tea-growing regions.

This participation reaffirmed Ceylon Tea’s enduring reputation and provided an effective platform to connect with key European stakeholders, industry professionals, and tea connoisseurs. This effort aimed to enhance the footprint of Ceylon tea in the Belgian and wider European markets along with internationally recognised quality with the rich heritage, landscapes and story behind every cup of Ceylon tea.
