The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing successfully promoted Ceylon Tea at the 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, held from 9–13 July 2026 in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China.
The Ceylon Tea Pavilion featured the participation of the tea importing representatives of Imperial Tea Exports (Pvt) Ltd and Sinolan Tea (Pvt) Ltd, who showcased premium Ceylon Tea products and engaged with Chinese importers, distributors, business representatives, and consumers through product presentations and tea tasting sessions.
The event provided an important platform to enhance awareness of authentic Ceylon Tea, highlight Sri Lanka’s rich tea heritage and world-renowned quality, and explore new opportunities to expand the presence of Ceylon Tea in Gansu Province and the wider Northwest China market.
