The South Asia Expo 2025 was held from 19th to 24th June in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China. Organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing in partnership with the Department of Commerce of Sri Lanka, the event was supported by the Yunnan Provincial Government.
Sri Lanka was honored as the “Theme Country” for the 2025 edition, and a 360 sqm Theme Pavilion was established to highlight the country’s strengths in Tea, Tourism, Gems, Handicrafts, Spices, and more. Nearly 100 Sri Lankan enterprises participated, representing key sectors during the event. The Pavilion aimed to enhance Sri Lanka’s brand positioning in the Chinese market through interactive promotion.
The following Sri Lankan tea companies participated under the Enterprise Section to promote Ceylon Tea, in collaboration with the wider Ceylon Tea promotional activities conducted at the Ceylon Tea-themed Pavilion.
