Higher Tea Prices are getting trickled down to tea factories and farmers including smallholders and RPCs. Lowest production recorded in February is now compensated with more sales volume in March, meaning this month production has increased.

However their cost of production and cost of living will also go up, that’s why serious cost reduction (overheads, transportation electricity etc) exercise needs to be implemented if not already done, Our project of Solar power panel installation at factories must be increased. We have been advocating Balanced nutrient management policy and soil fertility strategies as possible solutions to mitigate adverse effects of climate change.

Continuation of our Export led growth strategy is d answer and more and more R&D innovation must be explored to bring down cost of production.
